A Glimpse of Glory

Confirmation of Jesus as the Messiah. Throughout

the Gospels, Jesus is confirmed as the Messiah. Most

clearly, the Father speaks from Heaven to state that

Jesus is his Son, with whom he is well pleased. If

miracles aren’t enough to convince someone, God’s

spoken voice should. If not, there’s his resurrection

from the dead, ascension, and witnesses.

Jesus fulfills the OT. Moses and Elijah are revered OT

people. They were both prophets and leaders of

Israel during tumultuous times. Their ministries

pointed to the Messiah and Israel’s future

redemption. Additionally, each experienced special

times of God’s presence. Jesus fulfills their ministries

as he is the greater prophet who is God and

tabernacles among humanity.
