Spirit's Promise

The gospel shapes the identity of those made in God’s image by placing it solidly in Christ. By his work on the Cross, sinners are justified, redeemed, and indwelt by the promised Spirit. By that same Spirit we become children of God through adoption, heirs of Christ. This is the Spirit’s promise.
