In Peter's amazing proclamation at Pentecost, after highlighting the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we are pointed to who Christ is. Not only is He the long-awaited Messiah, but He is God Himself!

How Jesus is fully human and fully God is a mystery as mind-bending as the Trinity, yet is an important concept to recognize. As Peter highlights the fulfillment of prophecy found in the Psalms (16 & 110), he demonstrates how Jesus is greater than a mere descendant of David and is the "Son of God."

In considering the Godhead, it's important we don't split God and box God up. It's easy to compartmentalize God when we think of our relationship with Jesus. To be in relationship with Jesus is to be in relationship with the Holy Spirit and relationship with the Father.

We are invited "all in" with a God who experienced what we experience. In Jesus, God shows how He relates - not just to us - but with us.
